Dr. Christopher Thang

Dr. Thang was born and raised in Houston, TX. Dr. Thang attending Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, and earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. He continued his education and earned his doctorate in Medicine from the McGovern Medical School in Houston and completed his six-year specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Texas Medical Center at the University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals.

Specialty Training

Dr. Thang is trained in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with interests in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma and orthognathic surgery. He is a candidate member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Thang enjoys traveling and has been fortunate to visit cities all over the country and abroad. In his free-time, you’ll find him building gaming computers while listening to his favorite jams. He also keeps an active lifestyle and enjoys snowboarding and powerlifting.
