DDS, MD
Dr. Thang was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. He continued his education by earning his medical degree from McGovern Medical School in Houston and completed his six-year specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals within the Texas Medical Center.
Specialty Training
Dr. Thang is trained in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, with interests in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma, and orthognathic surgery. He is a candidate member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Thang enjoys traveling and has been fortunate to visit cities across the country and abroad. In his free time, you’ll often find him building gaming computers while listening to his favorite music. He also maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys snowboarding and powerlifting.
