Our doctors and surgical team are continually learning and utilizing sophisticated technology to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for our patients.

Cone Beam 3D CT Scan: CS 9300 system

Unlike a traditional spiral CT scanner, this 3D system utilizes cone beam CT technology and provides precise, crystal-clear digital images while minimizing patient exposure to radiation. Producing much more sophisticated images than general denta xrays, the cone beam scan offers our team a thorough look at the entire oral and maxillofacial region from any angle. The diagnostic images produced by this technology allow our surgeons to evaluate the health of teeth, face, and bones.

Receiving a 3D cone beam scan is a short, painless process for patients and helps our doctors diagnose potential issues more accurately and provide treatment with unprecedented confidence.

NOMAD Handheld X-Ray System

Our practice uses the NOMAD portable radiography system which produces accurate radiological images with lower radiation exposure to the patient than a conventional X-ray. This device is helpful in operatory settings where real-time imaging is needed during oral surgery procedures. NOMAD produces clear X-ray imaging of the oral cavity and face quickly which allows our surgical team to stay nimble throughout a procedure, further reducing the amount of time a patient is in treatment.

Computer Guided Dental Implants

To ensure the best possible treatment planning and execution as possible, our surgeons use state of the art software and 3D imaging to simulate and guide dental implant placement.
This technology allows our surgical team to provide tailored treatment to each patient’s individual needs. Because this process makes procedures so much more precise, computer guided dental implant placement often leads to reduced treatment times.

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)

PRF is a technique during which platelets in a patient’s blood are isolated to create a concentrate that is then injected (using the patient’s own plasma) into damaged tissue to enhance healing after oral surgery.
Our surgical team draws a blood sample from the patient then concentrates it using a centrifuge machine to separate the different blood components into individual, concentrated layers that our surgeons can then use. This fibrin mesh acts almost like a band aid that can accelerate healing and reduce swelling. It also protects the surgical site from saliva, bacteria and other contaminants.
