Dr.Andrew Bhagyam

Dr. Andrew Bhagyam was born and raised in the Midwest, in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. He earned a degree in biology from Luther College in Iowa and went on to complete his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he graduated with distinction. After dental school, he spent a year in general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He then moved to Houston to continue his education, receiving a medical degree from McGovern Medical School, and completing specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Bhagyam is ABOMS board eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Specialty Training

Dr. Bhagyam is trained in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. His primary areas of interest include dentoalveolar surgery, IV sedation/anesthesia, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, benign pathology, and trauma.

Get to Know

Outside of practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Bhagyam enjoys cooking, photography, lifting after work and tinkering with his cars. He will try any new restaurants people recommend and also enjoys traveling around the world to go fishing from shore or sea.
